From the feed to the table
Brief
A Kurdish influencer wanted to bring her community from the Instagram feed into a real place to learn, warm and personal rather than another language app. Kurmancî is rarely taught in a structured way, and many learners from the diaspora feel ashamed of never having learned their own language. The platform had to strike that quiet tone and still carry lessons, live classes and subscriptions cleanly.
A brand that speaks softly
Approach
I developed a custom editorial brand: calm colours, serif type, imagery that feels like sitting around the table. The platform runs on Next.js with Payload as the CMS: video lessons, audio to repeat after, short quizzes, a free trial lesson with no sign-up, a weekly live class on Zoom and three Stripe subscriptions. Everything is bilingual (DE/EN), and the teacher maintains her own lessons.
A conversation, not an app
Result
A learning platform that feels like a conversation, not an app. Clear plans, Stripe subscriptions and a site meant to turn the community in the feed into paying learners.
